The word "institutional" conjures up images of drab, utilitarian public buildings, devoid of any warmth or style.  We think institutional design should celebrate the community.  We strive to enliven these spaces, connecting them to the vibrant neighborhoods they serve.  Whether it is an early childhood educational center or a cooling plant in a desert climate - boring is not in our vocabulary. The same purposeful design elements we use in our recreation and wellness centers - open design plans, daylighting and intuitive wayfinding - are equally at home in buildings that support public works.
