OLC is a forward-thinking, full-service architectural, interior design and aquatic design firm.  Started in Denver in 1961, we also have offices in Orlando, Tokyo and Cairo. OLC has a broad and deep portfolio of local, national and international projects.  Our experience and areas of practice include: athletic, fitness, recreation, wellness, hospitality, resort, aquatic, healthcare, education, commercial and retail.  We are looking for a well rounded, and self motivated individual to work in our fast-growing and established Aquatics Department. The ideal candidate has previous experience in the Aquatics industry, is able to communicate well with others, and enjoys being part of an ever-changing industry!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aquatic Code Review
  • Aquatic Design and Support
  • Aquatic Specifications
  • Aquatic Documents and Drawings
  • Prepare written correspondence and interact with Architects and possible Clients
  • Permit submission
  • Bid Reviews
  • Construction Site Visits and Site Visit Reports
  • Work with OLC Architecture and other Architects, Developers, and Owners outside of OLC

 Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years’ experience in construction coordination and phasing.
  • Working knowledge of construction industry and general pricing.
  • Ability to quickly pick up processes and apply them accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Scheduling or equal is required.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD is a must.
  • Previous experience with SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, or similar programs is a plus.
  • Technical or College education is preferred but experience will also be considered.
  • Previous Aquatics Industry experience is a plus but not necessary.

Licensed Architect with 5 - 10 years experience in construction documentation, specifications and project management.

Qualifications & Skills:
•    We are looking for an Architect who is Proficient in Revit and Building Information Modeling
•    Project management
•    Construction documentation and specifications
•    Indesign, Sketchup and Photoshop a plus!

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be leading client meetings and coordinating with consulting engineers.

Ability to work independently or in a team setting on detailed oriented duties and the ability to multi-task.
