Aqua Crest Pool

OLC is serving as the Architect of Record and Interior Designer for the complete redevelopment of the Aqua Crest Pool Complex in Delray Beach, FL. This $12 M project will fully replace the existing facility with a modern aquatic center designed to serve both competitive swimmers and the broader community. The new complex is organized into two primary zones: one for competitive use and one for family recreation. The competition zone features an all-new 52-meter by 25-yard, 10-lane pool with a separate dive well and a moveable bulkhead for traditional diving. The family-friendly zone includes a zero to 2.5-foot interactive play pool that flows into a teaching pool, along with three flume slides to enhance the recreational experience. A new 5,000 sf building will house administrative offices, ticketing, lifeguard and first aid rooms, weight training facilities, locker rooms, and concessions. Additional site features include expanded deck space, artificial turf areas with picnic tables and sound amplification, non-permeable shade structures, a flexible multipurpose party/classroom with subdivision capabilities, improved visibility across the site, and a new marquee sign with digital messaging.
