About This Project

Slopeside Hall is a multi-use educational and assembly facility located at the base of the Tubing and Skiing Hill in the Peninsula Recreation Area just outside the Town of Frisco. Designed and built in phases as part of the larger Frisco Adventure Park project, the facility serves as a year-round hub for recreation and community gathering.

The building is home to Fun Club, the Town’s after-school and summer day-camp program. When Fun Club is not in session, the flexible multipurpose rooms accommodate community meetings, banquets, and special events. The second floor houses the Town of Frisco Parks and Recreation administrative offices, making Slopeside Hall the central hub for operations. The project also introduced a plaza and amphitheater, further enhancing the site as a destination for residents and visitors. Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility features all-electric systems, solar panels, and energy recovery systems that support long-term efficiency and environmental responsibility.

As part of the overall Adventure Park improvements, the Day Lodge remodel project added a service elevator to the existing lodge to improve the delivery of winter sports rentals, including skis, boots, and poles. This upgrade required reconfiguring and modernizing the food service area with a new electric range, fryer, and ventilation system seamlessly integrated into the existing structure through close coordination of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
