Limon is the ‘Hub City’ approximately 90 miles east of Denver on I-70. It is a 2,000+ population community focused on regional retail and agriculture. The Town has the desirable small-town quality of values and community. The central 1.34-acre site is surrounded by single-family homes. We removed the existing 2,60 sf concrete block pool house and leaking 3,400 sf existing pool and deck. The new project is a Design-Build collaboration between OLC and A.D. Miller Construction Services. OLC and A.D. Miller demolished the existing pool house and pool. The new project includes a 3,000 sf concrete block with precast concrete roof building, a 2,500 sf zero-depth entry activities pool with a 14’ height slide, and a separate 2,500 sf, 3 lane x 25meter lap pool with diving board and climbing wall. The building includes men’s and women’s rooms with showers, private changing, and lockers. There are two family changing rooms with showers, a First Aid room, a guard’s room, a prepared food and beverage concession, check-in, and an office. The mechanical room contains two separate pool equipment sys-tems and chemical rooms. There is plenty of colorful deck seating, tables with umbrellas, and multiple fixed shade structures for day and evening activities. The site includes an existing community youth center, 36 parking spaces, a picnic, and a bike touch-up station. To the south is an open storm drainage way with the Community Center beyond.
